I highly agreed with Ms. Cooper. Although, honestly, I have never heard anyone else say that education is indeed a civil rights issue. History has shown that this statement was not always true. I guess I have always taken for granted the opportunity to go to school and receive an education. Amazingly enough, our country has not always awarded this right to every man and women of all races and creeds.
